Well, sort of. Julia and I went to visit the students and staff at my work yesterday. As per usual she put on her best show for all of the new people; lots of smiles and talking during our visit. Everyone seemed to enjoy meeting her and I enjoyed getting to see my students and colleauges again. We will be back again for another visit sometime between now and Halloween.

Julia went to her 6 week checkup at the doctor today…

She is now 5140grams (11lbs 5oz) and 58cm (23 inches) long.

According to my calculations…this means she should be 204kg (450lbs) and 8.4m (27ft 9in) tall when she moves out at age 18!  We’ve created a monster!

I would like to send out a big thank-you to everyone who participated in the baby shower last weeked. We really appreciate everyone’s generosity and support. Julia is already enjoying some of her new toys and clothing… she especially likes her dragonfly and her bouncy chair!

We took Julia to be weighed yesterday… she weighed in at 9lbs, 15.5 ounces! She has gained over a pound since she was born! For those who do not remember, she was 8lbs, 8 ounces when she was born. To say the least her one month and even some of her three month clothing no longer fit!
