It sure has been a while since I have posted anything up here, but that’s not for a lack of things to post! Mom says that I should just type a big long list of all that I have been doing and things that have happened, and so I am going to take her ever good advice and do just that.

1. I have two teeth; in the middle on the bottom of my mouth. They took about a month to come in after they first reared their tiny points.

2. I can now pull myself up to standing using just about anything in reach.

3. I love to walk around with the help of those around me.

4. We had a Mother’s Day lunch here for my mom and grandmas, and it was my Dad’s birthday the other day. I have been giving lots of presents this month!

5. I will sometimes crawl on my hands and knees, or like a bear, but I still prefer to pull myself along like an inch worm. Mom says I am very fast!

6. Daddy is teaching me how to climb stairs.

7. I like to clap my hands to cheer people on, or whenever someone yells “yayyyy!”

8. I finally waved to someone other than Mom and Dad yesterday… Grandpa and Grandma!

9. I love being outside, and am not “afraid” of the grass anymore. I got my first grass stains today while I was playing in the yard with Mom.

10. Mom took me to a whole bunch of day home interviews, and we have found a great place for me to go in the fall when Mom goes back to work!

11. I got to go to Red Deer with Mom while Daddy worked downstairs all day and night for a few days to get most of the work finished on the basement.

12. I went to the new Wholesale Sports with Mom and Dad and am working on convincing them to buy me a camping chair of my own!

13. I like to play “catch” now with my toys. I will throw them at you and you catch! I think this is very funny.

14. I will play ball; roll or throw the ball back to you when you give it to me.

15. I can sometimes stand up for a few seconds all by myself, but you should be ready to catch me!

16. I am starting to “cruise” which means that soon I will be clearing tables!

17. I love small spaces and finding things to get into while I am there.

18. I went to my friend Jack’s second birthday party on Friday and had a great time playing with some bigger kids.

19. I babble all of the time with lots and lots of different sounds.

20. I am a true Salomons and a true Marceau, I love ice cream! (And frozen yogurt, just like Mommy).

Well, we picked up Grandpa from the airport this afternoon and brought him back to our place…

 He gave me lots of gifts from his trip and after supper he played Wii for the first time.  Here’s a video of him boxing and if you look closely you’ll be able to see me watch the fight of a lifetime.  Grandpa’s got moves!

As of today Julia is 0.75 years old. A whole 9 months! No longer is she the little lump that just lays there and occasionally cries. Now we have a teething, quasi-crawling, babbling happy little girl who like so to take trips to the park and has been helping her parents go shopping for furniture: no we have not found any, yes Julia is testing out the couches too! This week has us visiting two potential days homes, one doctors appointment, a probable trip to Brentwood, and hopefully going to see our new friend Camiela who was born on Wednesday!
