Guess what… I have a cousin! Her name is Claire and she is very very small. Mom says that I was that small once not too long ago, but it seems pretty crazy to me that someone could grow and change that much in just a year. Who knows, maybe she is right. Anyhow, Mom, Dad, and I all piled into the van this weekend and headed up to visit Claire, Uncle Brad, and Auntie Karin. We stopped to visit Grandma Kathy on the way up to Edmonton, and saw Grandma Shirley, Grandpa, and Auntie Sharyl on the way home. Claire didn’t know how to play with me yet, but Mom and Dad said that by this time next year she and I can get into all kinds of trouble together! But for now she gets lots of cuddles, sometimes cries, sleeps and eats. I got to play with lots of her toys, look at the cool mural on her bedroom wall, and even sleep in her bed! It was sure nice of her to share all of her stuff with me. When Claire comes to visit at my house I will share all of my stuff with her too. Well, most of it. Maybe not my diapers because I don’t think that they would fit! But she could use most anything else that she needs.

Hi All,

Just a quick note to let everyone know that I am surviving going to the sitter every day, and I am even starting to have fun! I sleep lots, eat lots, and have not picked up any bad habits yet. Mom says I becoming less of a baby and more of a toddler every day. I only want my way (what’s wrong with that?), I like to run everywhere, and I am generally a bundle of energy.  Mom posted some new photos of me in the gallery, so you should take a look!

Hi Everyone! Well, it has been a few weeks since I have written here; I have been very busy getting to know my new routine. Mom went back to work two weeks ago, and at first I was sad about not spending all of my time with her. But, Grandma Kathy came to stay with me for a few days and we had so much fun! She took me to the park everyday, and by the time she left I was walking really well! Then I got to spend two days just with Daddy. We went everywhere! My favourite was the pet store.  Now, I go to a nice lady’s house every morning and she takes care of me while Mom is at work. There are some kids to place with and a puppy! I still like it to spend my days with Mom, but at least I have someplace fun to go while she is at work.  Speaking of Mom’s work, it sure sounds like a crazy place! She didn’t even have all her walls and doors the first week. That sounds nuts!  What else… Grandma and Grandpa came and spent the weekend with me; they just left earlier today.  I like it when they visit too. Grandpa sure makes a lot of crazy faces!
